Stall Holder FAQ's

Stalls will only be offered to those who can fulfill the full criteria:

Re category: You must fall under at least one ‘Re’. If you are unsure, just ask us
Transparency: You need to be able to explain to customers how you are sustainable
Packaging: Product packaging must be compostable or recyclable. No plastic packaging
Ethical: Products must be handmade, made responsibly and/or ethically sourced
Compliant: You must provide a copy of your public liability insurance to secure a stall
Food compliant: Food businesses must provide a food license and safety certificate
Vegan friendly: Products made from any animal or animal by-product cannot be sold

Please note: Some recycled non-vegan-friendly products are ok e.g recycled leather shoes or belts

The Re categories are how we define the various ways we can live more sustainably. Some stall holders will fall under more than one category:

Rethink: Envision new ways to live sustainably
Reduce: Buy less, waste less, own less
Reuse: Choose reuse over single use
Repair: Don't ditch it, fix it
Repurpose: Make something new from something old
Recycle: Find better ways to divert your waste

Anyone who has a reason to Re (even one that is not listed above) is welcome to join us.

Stalls can fall under the following categories:

Retail: Anyone selling sustainable products
Services: Anyone sharing information about the sustainable services they offer
Food: Any registered food businesses who operates sustainably

For retail and services stalls we offer two sizes:

Small: Your space is 1.2m x 1.5m and we provide a 1.2m x 60cm booth
Large: Your space is 2.4m x 2.4m and you can bring your own table(s) or we can provide a table

For food stalls we offer two sizes:

Small: Your space is 1.2m x 1.5m and we provide a 1.2m x 60cm booth

Large: Your space is 3m x 3m and you will need to bring your own tables, equipment etc.

Fees are based on stall type, with priority given to retail and creative stalls:

Retail: Small $75 / Large $95
Services: Small $40 / Large $60
Food: Small $95 / Large $115

If you have different size requirements for your stall please contact us to chat about what your options are.

The Sustainable Markets are held on the first Saturday of each month, excluding January, between 11am and 3pm.

Bump-in and bump-out times are strict:

Stall holders may bump-in no earlier than 9:30am and must have all vehicles off site by 10:30am
Bump-out is no earlier than 3pm and all vehicles must be off site by 4pm
