Divert your clothes and textiles from landfill by dropping them off to us where we will reuse, repurpose or recycle them responsibly.
How do I drop off my clothes?
1) Our volunteers will help you sort your items into piles for reuse, repurpose and recycling
2) We then weigh every item to let you know how much you have diverted from landfill
3) Pay the fee for repurposing or recycling your items (reuseable items are free to drop off)
4) To say thanks for paying for repurposing or recycling items, grab a voucher on your way out

Why do we charge you for repurposing items?
We try to bring the cost of your recycling down by repurposing some of your items instead. While we do our best to repurpose these items, they do sometimes end up having to go to recycling. In this case, we still have to pay the full recycling fees.
ITEMS FOR REPURPOSING
We are not a 'drop and run' service, so please allow time for us to check for items that are fit for repurposing to bring your recycling costs down
Acceptable items for repurposing:
Some cotton t-shirts that are appropriate for turning into rags, yarn or tote bags
Some patterned clothing that can be cut down and made into fabric bundles
Some items that have minor damage, that can not be resold, but can be given away as a freebie
Sometimes we may have requests from makers for specific items for upcycling purposes
Why do we charge you for recycling?
Our drop off and sorting service is free to community members. The fees you pay cover freight, handling and transforming your clothing into new materials by our recycling partner, Upparel.
