Re Place

A space dedicated to all things 'Re': Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Repurpose and Recycle.

 

Our space:

  • Is outdoors, but undercover. There is a roof so events can proceed even if raining. There are some walls, but the space is partly open to the elements. 
  • Is accessible, with accessible car spaces and bathrooms
  • Has some onsite parking, with further street parking available
  • Allows for you to drive in and park your vehicle in the same space you are working
  • Offers 3 phase power, regular power and tap
  • Has bathrooms with toilets and a shower onsite 
  • Is a 5 minute walk from buses, a 10 minute walk from trains and a 15 minute walk from light rail

Other amenities and items which are available are:

  • A bar fridge, kettle and microwave 
  • Space to store tools and materials temporarily 
  • Power cords and boards
  • Basic tools, gloves, rope etc. 
  • Tables and chairs 
  • A palette jack and palettes 
  • Trolleys to move items 
  • Stall booths 
  • Bins and tubs 

You may also book our small office space if needed.  If there is something you require that is not mentioned above, please let us know and we will see if we can accommodate your needs.

 

The price of hiring our space will depend on: 

  • What you are using it for
  • How long you need it for
  • How much space you are using

We are flexible with pricing and try to accommodate community groups, not-for-profits and social enterprises by providing a discount where possible. We are also happy to negotiate a fair price by offering hourly/daily/weekly rates, a percentage of ticket sales from events or barter, where you can volunteer your time and skills in exchange for hiring the space. 

 

Re Place is dedicated to all things 'Re': Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Repurpose, and Recycle. Our mission is to cultivate a space where individuals and groups committed to building a sustainable community can thrive. Consequently, for public events, we exclusively offer our venue to those with a clear focus on environmentalism, sustainability, or one of our 'Re' principles.

For private use of the space, we're open to discussing your needs, as long as they do not directly contradict our values.

Please note that public liability insurance is a requirement for all public events. If you require assistance in obtaining insurance, we're happy to connect you with a trusted broker who can offer fair rates for short-term coverage or a one-off event.
