Our Makers

Barefoot Boquet

Sophia creates her art as a way to spread appreciation of nature and life, and show that sustainable art is possible. To make a bigger impact, she sells her works via Barefoot Bouquet and the profits go towards her chosen charity. Her sustainable methods also minimize her business costs, which allows her to maximize our donations. So, only a tiny bit of each sale is held back to keep Barefoot Bouquet running - and the rest goes towards a good cause.

Cricket's Workshops

Cricket's Creative Workshops are cozy, joy-forward creative gatherings where everyday items are transformed into expressive, wearable art. Using reclaimed textiles, embroidery, trinkets, paint and found materials, participants are invited to experiment, repair, exaggerate, soften or completely reimagine what they bring — no prior art experience needed, just curiosity.

Fiona.rt Reclaimed Textiles

Fiona is the artist behind Fionart, creating hand-dyed, reclaimed textile pieces and wearable art from vintage and rescued fabrics. She runs creative workshops focused on mending, slow stitching and transforming pre-loved materials into something new. Fiona also has a rack at Re Place, where she sells her upcycled garments and textile creations, championing reuse and conscious fashion.

Planet Stitch Up

Planet Stitch Up creates playful, climate-minded embroidered pieces by reworking secondhand and vintage clothes with fun little messages that spark joy and awareness. They celebrate sustainable fashion by upcycling garments and highlighting the potential of preloved textiles to be loved again. Planet Stitch Up sells their embroidered items on a rack at Re Place, sharing creativity and eco-conscious style with the community.

Ryder's Repairs

Ryder comes from a graphic design background with studies in fine art and pattern making, and has been repairing and caring for garments for over six years. Rooted in slow fashion, vintage restoration and environmental impact, they’re passionate about working with reused and reclaimed materials. Specialising in garment repair, resizing and redesign, Ryder sees every piece as a chance to add personality and help people feel comfortable, confident and empowered in what they wear — and they also teach workshops at Re Place, sharing their skills and love of conscious fashion with the community.

Shanna's Bags

Shanna creates an eclectic range of one-of-a-kind tote bags using reclaimed textiles she discovers while volunteering at Re Place. Each piece is thoughtfully handmade and entirely unique, giving rescued fabrics a second life in practical, everyday form.

The Clothing Clinic

The Clothing Clinic is driven by a mission to tackle the growing problem of clothing waste by transforming how people see and value their garments. Believing that clothes beyond wear are not waste but resources full of potential, the Clinic collaborates with Re Place to deliver workshops in upcycling and repair to give textiles a second life. By helping create pieces to be loved again, The Clothing Clinic works to extend the life of garments and reduce the environmental impact of fashion.

The Moody Project

Tess is the creative force behind The Moody Project, crafting custom felt art and woven fiber pieces that capture emotion, memory and story through raw, textured textiles and original poetry. Their work transforms reclaimed and natural fibers into deeply personal art, offering unique pieces that speak to feeling, reflection and connection. Tess also runs art workshops and creative experiences centered on expressive, joyful making and art as a tool for healing and self-exploration.

Our Partners

Green Living Centre

The Green Living Centre runs workshops and events at the Inner West Sustainability Hub in Summer Hill, sharing practical skills and ideas that support sustainable living and a growing circular economy. Their experienced team works closely with the community to empower everyday environmental action, and collaborates with Re Place to host clothes swaps and repair days that keep textiles in use for longer.

Slogue

Slogue’s Flip Fashion Forever program is a creative, youth-led initiative that teaches young people how to upcycle, repair and reimagine second-hand clothing through hands-on workshops and thrift-flipping activities. It brings creativity, skill-building and community back into fashion while reducing textile waste and inspiring a more sustainable relationship with what we wear.

Success Works

Success Works Partners supports women impacted by the criminal legal system to rebuild their lives and move into meaningful employment. We deliver trauma‑informed, strengths‑based programs across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW, led by women with lived experience. Through workshops, coaching, volunteering, and our Test & Tag social enterprise, we create practical pathways to economic independence. We also partner with Re-Place to run volunteer days that offer our women safe, empowering opportunities to build confidence, skills and community connection.
